  • Operational Times

Sunday – Thursday 10am – 10pm -11pm

Friday – Saturday 10am – 12am -1am

  • Entertainment

DJ’s can be arranged for your function, these arrangements need to be made prior with management. Outside of DJ sessions, Chill On – Ski Lodge plays house, electro and funk music.

Live entertainment can also be arranged (two piece groups, acoustic or soloists).

Live bands are not allowed as per our licensing/operational agreement.

  • Dress Code

Ice Lounge;

All clothing requirements will be provided by Chill On, this includes a jackets, inners, gloves, socks and ugg boots where required. It is suggest that you wear sensible foot wear where possible, because Chill On has a limited number of ugg boots.

Furthermore long pants are recommended but not essential, we do not provide ski pants.

Ski Lodge;

Smart casual required.

No beanies or hats.

  • Security

Security is required for functions of 60 guests or more, Chill On hires guards for Friday and Saturday nights so costs on these nights are covered by Chill On. If your function falls outside these days and you have 60 guests or more a guard will have to be hired at a cost of $80.00 per hour.

  • Children attending Private Functions

You are responsible for all persons under the age of 18 attending your function. Children are only allowed on the premise till 9:00pm and then must be escorted by a responsible adult. Chill On will not be responsible or liable for any damage or injury suffered to, by or in conjunction with children, including if children leave the function venue or are not properly supervised by responsible adults. For private function Chill On allows children on site until 9:00pm at which point they must be escorted of site by a responsible adult. Chill On has very strict guidelines on children who attend for private function, 18ths birthdays or other events where underage patrons attend – this should be discussed with management at length so that there are not surprises. If you plan to have underage patrons at a function or event Chill On should be made aware.

  • Damage to venue

The client is financially responsible for any damage that is sustained to the venue or any other property owned by or in the care and custody of the venue or theft which is caused by the client or any guest or other person attending the function. Ice carvings/sculptures are extremely expensive to replace and as such should any damage occur by you or a person attaining your function you are financially responsible. Chill On accepts no responsibility for goods, gifts, equipment or personal items left on the premises.

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol

The Chill On Family has been trained in the Responsible Service of Alcohol, and by law may refuse to serve alcohol to any person/persons that/who seem to be intoxicated. Should security or bar staff feel that a person or persons should be restricted from consuming alcohol then this will be communicated to the individual, should an individual consume alcohol after being restricted they will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Chill On prohibits any minors under the age of 18 years to be served or given alcoholic beverages. CHILL ON is a licensed venue and as such will draw on its experience to judge and determine the correct action when it comes to its liquor license.

  • Consumption

No food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into the venue by the client or any guest. Chill On does not permit BYO alcohol of any type.

  • Smoking

To adhere with the smoking legislation laws Chill On may only permit smoking in the seating area out the front of the venue.

  • Prices

All prices are inclusive of GST. Prices and menus are subject to change without notice.

  • Payments

The outstanding amount is payable 7 days prior to the event in full via credit card, cash (at venue) or via EFT. If the client wishes to pay via cheque this must be provided 10 days prior to your function. Full payment is made prior to the event night, on the day of the actual event/function the only payment required is for additional persons not included in the issued invoice, for any increases in tab amounts and for additional purchases (photos, merchandise etc). Alternate arrangements are made with management and agreed to by Chill On in writing. A deposit is required to secure the requested date and time of your function as a deposit equals confirmation. We can not secure a date without a deposit, a conversation or enquiry does not secure a date – all confirmed booking will receive a confirmation/bookings form and a deposit will be taken.

  • Deposits

Chill On requires a deposit to be paid to confirm the date and time of the function. The deposit amount is calculated off the quoted price and is 50% of the total cost of the function. Please refer to the invoice for the amount payable (deposit equals confirmation). The outstanding amount is to be paid on the night or via an approved payment method. The outstanding amount is payable 7 days prior to the event in full via credit card, cash (at venue) or via EFT. If the client wishes to pay via cheque this must be provided 10 days prior to your function.

  • Final numbers

Final numbers must be confirmed 7 days prior to the day on which the function is to be held or on minimum numbers as stipulated in your booking form. In the event that the final details and number of guests are not confirmed in accordance with the above terms and conditions, Chill On may terminate any and all contracts and agreements with the client. Final minimum numbers are at liberty of increasing but not decreasing.

  • Minimum spends

The minimum spend will always apply and is in place of a room charge.

  • Cancellations

All cancellations must be made in writing to the Functions Manager, Chill On - Ice Lounge. Where the client cancels a booking 14 days or less, the deposit amount is held or that amount will be automatically charged to the credit card number supplier on the booking arrangement form. All catering and beverages are ordered when you confirm your intention to move forward and other parties are turned away when a booking is made, as such this deposit amount will cover expenses already outlaid on your behalf or lose of revenue because of cancelled functions.
